The City

Oh my, what a crazy first week in NYC.  I haven't walked so much since... well I just got back from Las Vegas before I came here and when you walk down the strip you think it's not a far walk, but think again.  It's crazy being here alone, because there's so many people, but I find myself not talking for hours at a time.  After my family and friends visit, I think I'm going to start meeting more people. Once I get to show other people around I will feel more confident in my daily activities.  I'm glad I chose to work in Brooklyn and attend school in Manhattan because this way I get to explore both cities and not get stuck in a daily routine in one or the other.

OKAY! So if I had more money it would be dangerous, because there are way too many shops in Manhattan.  It's like if you ever heard of label or saw it in a magazine, but had no idea how to buy any item under that label, well it's in the city.  I have walked by so many stores that I had no idea existed.  It's absolutely amazing.  Once I get a camera I think I'm going to take pictures of every store I visit and let you all know what it's like.  The only store I've gone into is Anthropologie and was so proud that I didn't buy anything.  Eventually I will be walking around the city with bags full of new buys.

Let's move on to my little apartment in Brooklyn.  I have one picture of the apartment it's the door to my freezer, basically because the only thing I have in my apartment is a bed.  I think I'd rather pick up pieces of furniture over time and make it more personable, rather than buys it all at once.  That's just my opinion.  Here's the picture..
