when it rains, it pours.

OK! so I flew into LAX on Sunday and it hasn't stopped raining since I got here. I kept bragging to my New Yorker friends that I'm going to leave that 30 degree weather for some sun, well I was WRONG. so lame. So I've been stuck inside all day, which is good because I had a paper due for my Eco Fashion: Sustainable Solutions class. I wrote on an amazing brand called Alabama Chanin, which I am now obsessed with. Definitely check out the website, alabamachanin.com Natalie Chanin you ROCK!

These ladies go to my school (Parsons) and created this pretty cool mannequin. It's on Broadway between Times Square and Herald Square along with 29 other mannequins. From what I read its based on sustainability which is a pretty big deal in the fashion world right now :)

I'll be visiting California in three weeks from today! I'm so EXCITED!!! I never thought i'd be excited to see the OC again... this is weird.

I really need to post more often this thing. I jumped from September 2009 to July 2010... how sad is that :(
